• Sales Associate

  We're looking for a top-notch sales associate with B2B selling experience to join our team. Think you have what it takes to sell people a great product? Let's talk.

  Responsibilities

  • Calling and selling to potential clients
  • Managing a dedicated book of prospects
  • Selling directly over the phone
  • Meeting all sales goals, growing a subscription business
  • Working as a member of a team and keep management up-to-date on your progress

  Profile

  High-energy, self-motivated, supportive, organized, results-oriented and ethical individual with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on profit. Reliable and persistent. We are looking for someone ambitious, who gets the job done. You should have a desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

  You must be an excellent communicator! You will spend the majority of your time selling to businesses on the phone, but you will also need to be able to write articulate letters, emails, PowerPoint, etc. You will attend in-person meetings, develop and deliver sales presentations, and attend trade shows as required.

  Prerequisites

  • Four-year college degree
  • Prior experience in sales — minimum of 2 years in B2B
  • Proven results. Evidence of beating your numbers
  • Prior sales-related experience in magazine publishing or market research a plus!
  • Experienced with Word, PowerPoint and Excel

• Marketing Intern

  We’re seeking a spring and/or summer marketing intern who's passionate about helping our sales team achieve its goals. Want to learn the ins and outs of direct mail and digital marketing? Curious about the magazine industry? Help us spread the word about a service that's used by some of the biggest magazines in the business.

  Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the marketing team in completion of daily tasks
  • Gathering contact information
  • Helping with direct mailers
  • Learning more so you can do more

  Our ideal candidate will be:

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Possessed of strong quantitative skills
  • Comfortable using Excel to manage data and create compelling graphics
  • Proficient in PowerPoint

  Experience using data management tools such as Salesforce a plus!
