Sales Associate

Responsibilities
- Calling and selling to potential clients
- Managing a dedicated book of prospects
- Selling directly over the phone
- Meeting all sales goals, growing a subscription business
- Working as a member of a team and keep management up-to-date on your progress
Profile
High-energy, self-motivated, supportive, organized, results-oriented and ethical individual with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on profit. Reliable and persistent. We are looking for someone ambitious, who gets the job done. You should have a desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
You must be an excellent communicator! You will spend the majority of your time selling to businesses on the phone, but you will also need to be able to write articulate letters, emails, PowerPoint, etc. You will attend in-person meetings, develop and deliver sales presentations, and attend trade shows as required.
Prerequisites
- Four-year college degree
- Prior experience in sales — minimum of 2 years in B2B
- Proven results. Evidence of beating your numbers
- Prior sales-related experience in magazine publishing or market research a plus!
- Experienced with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
